The platform is built for courses where access to the assigned textbook should not depend on price, institutional login, a reader's first language, or the country in which the course is taught.
Chapters may be read online, downloaded, cited, and assigned in courses subject to the terms of the applicable licence. A2KF does not charge teachers, students, or readers.
Teachers can link directly to chapters, sections, and supporting materials instead of requiring students to purchase a volume or search for unauthorised copies.
Where translations or localised versions exist, they are intended to support teaching across linguistic and regional settings without treating English or one jurisdiction's examples as the only serious point of entry.
Teachers may adapt, excerpt, and build upon the materials where the licence permits, with appropriate attribution.
